Theory of Change
How it works
Moonshot interventions, derived from strategic objectives and inspired by the Agenda 2063 goals, embed resilience and deliver Moonshot outcomes through three pathways:
- Continental, AU frameworks & flagship projects
- Regional, Regional Economic Communities (RECs)
- National, country development plans (NDPs)
What changed
FTYIP → STYIP
The first plan (2014 to 2023) emphasised aligning national, regional and continental plans. The second plan emphasises acceleration and delivery, with resilience built in after the lessons of COVID-19 and global shocks.
